For industries like medical devices, this insight highlights the untapped potential to drive sales by targeting existing customers when launching new products.

 

Venn diagrams provide a clear and effective way to visualize cross-sell opportunities within a company’s product portfolio.

The 3-way Venn Diagram illustrates how customers interact with three distinct products. It segments the customer base into seven groups based on their ownership combinations. For instance:

  • Customers owning only Product A are represented in the left-most green section, totaling 569 customers.

  • Customers who own both Products A & B are shown in the top-middle overlap, comprising 202 customers.

 

This visualization, created using Power BI, demonstrates the power of data analytics in uncovering actionable insights. Similar diagrams can also be produced using Python for flexible and scalable analysis.
